BullyAlarm.com
is a a self-funded, non-profit organization committed to raising
awareness about bullying. BullyAlarm.com is an independent catalyst
for a national conversation on the issue of bullying that establishes
a common vocabulary and empowers us to See It -
Say It - Stop It!
Bullying is a behavior not a person.
Bullying is an IT – a behavior with commonly recognizable traits
– bullying is not a person.
In Dec, 2009, the NJ State Commission on Bullying found that
policies are not enough to combat this problem – we must move
from policies to programs that effectively empower us to produce
positive outcomes. On August 11, 2010, the Department of Education
held the first summit on the issue of bullying in our schools.
It’s time to break that chain of social violence and wake-up
the sleeping giant of justice and truth that resides in every
human being – I call it the BULLY ALARM! |
